Orientivity proudly announces partnership with Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund with the aim of developing football in Singapore

History has been made with Singapore sports and entertainment company, Orientivity, signing a partnership agreement with one of Germany’s top football clubs, Borussia Dortmund (BVB). This marks the first time BVB have partnered with a local company since they opened a regional office here in 2014. The aim of the agreement is to develop football in Asia especially in Singapore. Under this collaboration, BVB will work with Orientivity to provide comprehensive support at different technical levels in their BVB football clinics, winter/summer camp activities in designated Asian countries and in Dortmund itself. An annual international youth football tournament and football development conference are also among the planned activities in Orientivity’s masterplan.

Managing Director of Orientivity Pte Ltd, Mr. Zheng Le highlighted the importance of this collaboration. “This is an important milestone for Orientivity, a Singapore company to work with one of the best football clubs in the world to promote football in Singapore. With Borussia Dortmund’s reputation and expertise, Singapore football can greatly benefit from this partnership which will provide exposures for Singaporeans, especially youngsters to participate in football activities here and overseas. I believe our future plans will help to raise the profile of Singapore to position the country in the spotlight of global football stage.”

Borussia Dortmund’s Director of Marketing and Sales, Mr Carsten Cramer is thrilled with the partnership and further echoed, “Having our office in Singapore clearly sent a message out to the global football industry that Singapore is indeed a fantastic location and an ideal platform to promote and raise the BVB brand into the other Asian markets. A partner like Orientivity creates that diversity which would enable a club like us to tap into their resources and local knowledge regionally.”

To kick things off, Orientivity is delighted to have two Dortmund coaches from Germany to provide a complimentary training session to a group of Singaporean kids from St. Patrick’s School on 11th of November. From next year onwards, there will be more youth football activities to be organized by the two parties on both professional and amateur levels. These activities will give Singapore’s youth players the invaluable exposure of being trained by one of the most renowned youth football training systems. Our young players will also be able to experience authentic European football culture during summer/winter camp trips to Dortmund.
